Our friend Clarence Mitchell was honoured by his peers in the trade for his achievement in swinging opinion behind the McCanns. Since the acknowledged supporters of the pair were numbered in millions before his appointment and stand now, according to the bright new petition,at some thirty thousand plus, there might be something amiss with their assessment.

There always is. People who work in the news and presentation industry have a natural tendency to over-estimate the importance of their trade. And sometimes the sheer scale of the noise and excitement can draw the rest of us into thinking that the media fuss represents what is really going on.

For the interviews, the acres of newsprint, the campaigns, the PR triumphs and disasters – what have they all actually achieved?

Delay.

Nothing more has been accomplished, not victory, not defeat, not the elusive “clearance”, just delay. And what is delay but the temporary suspension of hard reality, not the reality itself? The last three and a half years amount to one long delaying squirm by the people at the heart of the affair, dramatic, newsworthy, fascinating but ultimately futile. The longer they try to disguise the truth, the worse it continues to get.

It all derives from one decision by the parents and some of their friends, something that can never be undone, for the evidence about it is known, documented and continuing to surface. We are moving to the later stages of the slow – agonisingly slow - demolition of their case piece by piece, not in the media but in the interview rooms, the lawyers’ offices, the courts and the judges’ chambers.

As we pointed out to Mr Simmons, the oldies are the goodies. The examples we gave were all linked and they stand out with increasing clarity amid the litter of answered questions (the ones that didn’t matter, such as the “tenth tapas”) and discarded theories (Gordon Brown, where are you?). They all represent the doomed attempt to escape the charge that they colluded to conceal the truth of what happened on May 3.

As is well known the Tapas 7 won substantial libel damages regarding their behaviour on May 3 and afterwards, without testifying in court. According to a statement by Mr Adam Tudor of our friends Carter Ruck, some of the settlement was for claims that “the friends had covered up the true facts and misled the authorities”, in other words that they had not told the truth. The newspapers did not defend the action.

That was in October 2008: three months after the prosecutors’ archiving report and release of the case files; six months after the rogatory interviews, the details of which, however, were not known to the UK press at that time; over a year before the Lisbon gagging injunction hearings. If only the archiving report really had meant the end of the case!

Shall we repeat the “libel” but with the incontrovertible evidence this time that the newspaper lacked? more

10 Goncalo Amaral’s book, ‘The Truth of the Lie’, has now been released in 6 European countries, but not in the UK. It has recently been banned in Portugal. It is a factual account of the early stages of the investigation based on information contained within the officially released Police files, so why has it been banned?

11 Why did the McCann’s want the investigation shelved? It was within their legal rights to ask for the enquiry to remain open, which they turned down? Why?

12 Why did 3 UK Detectives deliver several files of information to the McCann’s home, shortly after they got back to the UK whilst they were still suspects?

13 Why did the cadaver and blood sniffer dogs Eddie and Keela, only indicate to their apartment and their car? I believe 7 properties and 10 cars were searched in total that day, but only the McCann’s apartment and car tested positive.

14 Why did the Home Office refuse to hand over to the Portuguese investigators details of the McCann’s bank details, credit cards and medical records? These are one of the first things any Police force obtains at the start of an investigation. So why were they refused assistance?

15 The British Authorities later informed the Portuguese Police that the McCann’s did not own any credit or debit cards? So how did Gerry manage to pay for his holiday?

16 Why were the McCann’s and their Tapas friends never seriously interrogated? Instead, during their Rogatory interviews the British Police assisted them with some of their answers, which can be clearly seen in their statements.

17 Why did Gerry delete all the phone calls from his mobile on the 2nd of May, the day before Madeleine disappeared and also one received from Kate on 3rd May at 23.17 p.m., just over an hour after she had raised the alarm? Neither went to search for Madeleine, so why did Kate need to call him? Where did he go?

18 Why did Gerry have to fly home to obtain something with Madeleine’s DNA on? Did he actually supply an accurate representation of Madeleine’s DNA to the Police? Why was there no DNA of Madeleine’s found in the apartment the night she vanished?, an apartment which she had lived in for 5 days? Not one strand of hair was found there belonging to the McCann twins either. It’s like the apartment had been scrubbed clean.

19 Why is the case filed under Homicide, Simulating a Crime & Hiding a Cadaver and not abduction?

20 How did the scent of cadaver from a dead body get on Madeleine’s Cuddlecat, a child’s red T shirt, Kate’s black/white cheque trousers and her white sleeveless top? Why only these items?

21 Why did Gerry have to move the position of the sofa in the lounge? The exact same sofa which was identified by the blood dog Keela, as containing minute traces of blood in 3 different positions on the back panel. The exact same sofa that Eddie the cadaver dog also identified the scent of cadaver behind. Is this just a coincidence, or is this evidence of staging?

22 Why did the British Government intervene and support them on an unprecedented level from day one?




23 Why did the British Government feel the need to appoint a spokesman Clarence Mitchell, to speak in public for the McCann’s and is still assisting them today? Has the British tax payer been paying for his services all this time?

24 Why are the British papers only interested in reporting on the abduction line, when there is not one shred of evidence to support this theory? In 2008, one third of the official police files was made available to the general public. Facts that every newspaper could have easily been printed without any fear of litigation. They claim Gerry was sent 10 texts from an unknown number 24 hours before Madeleine disappeared.

And detectives say four messages arrived from the same mystery number the day after she went missing, according to court documents.

But Gerry and wife Kate have dismissed the claims as "utter rubbish".

A source close to them said: "They have had their phone records available for inspection for months. But the police never asked for them. And now they have formally asked, they have been refused.

"Any suggestion of Gerry receiving 10 texts the day before Madeleine disappeared are utter rubbish.

"He hardly used his phone during the holiday and most of the friends with them didn't even have mobiles.

"The only time his phone rang was when work called and he explained he was on holiday. There are no mystery texts. Gerry has nothing to hide. It's yet more nonsense coming from Portugal."

Police also applied to see the phone records of the friends that Gerry and Kate were on holiday with.

But Portugal's supreme court yesterday issued a detailed ruling rejecting the application. It is believed detectives waited too long to request the records and that accessing them could breach privacy laws. A local judge had already turned down the application.

As part of the ruling, it emerged for the first time that the McCanns are being investigated for manslaughter.

It is the first time official paperwork has been made public in the year-long investigation into the five-year-old's disappearance from Praia da Luz.

The 5,000-word ruling also reveals that police are investigating the McCanns for "exposure, abandonment and concealment of a corpse".

Kate and Gerry recently claimed police do not officially suspect them - even though they are both still "arguidos".

McCanns' spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: "They are not officially suspected of any crime.

"Nor have they been accused of any crime."

I see some of the usual suspects are here in force. Every time there is comments allowed for this poor unfortunate child and her beleaguered parents, they all turn up to dispense their vileness and venom.

There is nothing odd about this case, except perhaps the man that was first in charge of the investigation preferred to take long 3 hour lunches instead of looking for the child and then turn his hand to libelling the parents and selling his story in book form and to anyone else that would buy it, thus turning himself into a euro millionaire at the child's expense. Where else have you ever seen such a disgrace as that? The Portuguese courts agree, they have injuncted Amaral.

So you see these poor parents have been conned by British and Portuguese conmen, not bothered about poor little Madeleine, just bothered about making money off of her back and none have done that quite so spectacularly as Goncalo Amaral.

Meanwhile, these poor parents are left desperately trying to search for their daughter on their own, depending on the fund and relatives money to fund the search.

Scotland Yard should be investigating this, Madeleine is a British citizen and a minor, bless her little heart.

It is an absolute disgrace that this country has done nothing to help her parents find this child. The government should negotiate with the Portuguese government to give jurisdiction to detectives from Scotland Yard in Portugal to reopen and run this investigation and all of Scotland Yards technology, like HOLMES should be put to use, after all Madeleine is British, her parents British taxpayers. It is a travesty that this poor child has been abandoned by the British government.

A private detective whose company was paid up to £500,000 from publicly donated funds to find Madeleine McCann has been charged with fraud.
The McCanns had previously hired Barcelona-based detective agency Metodo 3 on a reported £50,000 a month. But the company lost credibility with the couple when its head of operations claimed he knew who had kidnapped Madeleine and hoped to have her home by Christmas.

After Halligen, the McCanns hired two former British detectives, David Edgar and Arthur Cowley. In August, Mr Edgar appealed for sightings of an Australian 'Victoria Beckham lookalike'. But a Mail on Sunday investigation revealed the detectives had failed to make the most basic of inquiries in Barcelona where the woman was seen.

I despair, I really do. Just how transparent does a case of faking an abduction have to be before one of these cocksuckers says, "hang on a minute this is nonsense, a half wit can see what's going on here?"

I use the word "say" metaphorically of course, it's hard to say anything when you are on your knees and your mouth is full of Mitchell-McCann cock. Little point in me asking have they no shame, it's patently obvious, as patently obvious as the guilt and the lies that have come out of the mouths of the McCanns, the Tapas Seven and Clarence, I'm such a Lying cunt, Mitchell ever since day one of this sordid tragedy cum farce.

But the day will come, hopefully sooner than later, when something breaks in this case, something so glaringly blatant that it cannot be put aside or swept under the rug any more and ALL those involved in this foul travesty will at last face the justice that is due to them.

When that day does finally come it will be then that I shall publish in the largest boldest font possible, the words, I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO, though I do feel I won't hold exclusive rights to this little piece of phraseology .

I do take some comfort that Madeleine McCann will not become another JonBenet Ramsey, and my reasoning is quite simply, two people, one of them now dead, know what truly happened to JonBenet that night in Boulder Colorado, just two people, unlike of course the vastly different number of people who are well aware of the fate of Madeleine McCann.

And as history has taught us, "Three may keep a secret-if two of them are dead."
How many know the secret of this despicable pair, how long before one of them gives the McCanns up?

My original intention was to parse, point by point and line by line this undisguised blatant smear of Goncalo Amaral by Daily Star hack Jerry Lawton, but word association took me down memory lane and I ended (what a surprise) doing another graphic.

Smear being the trigger word, which in the case of this article, really means smearing shit, which in it's turn took me back to primary school in the early fifties.

Even as I was doing the graphic I kept wondering how I was going to explain all this without getting too anal about it all.

The police chief sacked from the Madeleine McCann probe after declaring her parents suspects is selling interviews at £75,000 a time.

Last night Madeleine’s doctor parents Kate, 41, and Gerry, 40, slammed his money-making antics.

Last night’s Channel 4 documentary, Madeleine Was Here, highlighted potentially vital leads that Portuguese police ignored.

These include five reported sightings of a sinister scar-faced stranger casing out the McCanns’ apartment – by four witnesses.

The McCanns’ investigators believe her kidnapping was a planned two-man operation.
