Very recently I informed the BBC there would be no more licence fee from yours truly, £140 a year to be fed pap like this! never again.

It's astounding how bad it is, just ninety seconds that's all, but it's enough, it's more than enough and then some.

Plans have been dropped for a reconstruction of the night Madeline McCann went missing.

Don't quit your day job lady.

Eddie and Keela "Top Dog" Story Whooshed

Long ago, I mentioned a story, published in the South Yorkshire Police site, about Eddie and Keela, the two “incredibly unreliable” sniffer dogs that were so praised by British media, before they found something that was not exactly good for Gerry and Kate Mccann.

But it seems South Yorkshire Police agrees with Gerry Mccann, as the above mentioned page vanished. Just in case, I kept a copy.

“Top Dog” Paulo Reis has a page full of canine capers.

Leicestershire Police, Lies or Semantics?

It is by the way only for the sake of grammar that I end the title with a question mark, my opinion of Leicester Plod having been given previously in these pages.

Chris Eyre the Temporary Chief Constable, said “I can assure you that at no time were statements withheld and not passed on.”
Oh really? must have just misplaced the Gaspers statements then, yes that must be it, misplaced, what other reason could there possibly be for waiting half a year before passing them on to the Portuguese Police?

The statements of Katherina Gaspar and Arul Gaspar.

In light of this latest nonsense from Leicestershire Police I thought I would repost this very insightful article by Dr Martin Roberts.

Now far be it for me to tell you to pay attention and consider the implications of what Dr Roberts is saying here, but do pay attention and consider the implications of what Dr Roberts is saying about the involvement of Leicester Plod.

What is writ below is but a short extract of a more comprehensive and thought provoking article.

CHAPTER AND VERSE

.........As a younger man I once enjoyed the company of a mathematically adept colleague, whose principal out-of-hours interest was the 'Sport of Kings'. He would study The Sporting Life assiduously, and wasn't so much in the habit of placing a bet as making a calculated investment. When assessing the odds, this individual typically thought 'outside the box', well before that phrase was ever coined. He had a sharp eye for the unusual, and one memorable observation of his has stayed with me ever since: 'You won't find a trainer in the North of England sending his horse all the way to a small track in the South if he doesn't have a very good reason for believing it will win.'

Now, this is not quite the irrelevant anecdote it may appear. Soon after attending at apartment 5A of the Ocean Complex on the night of May 3, 2007, the GNR decided they were out of their depth and called in the PJ, an organisation the McCanns would go on to criticise in no uncertain terms, Gerry making it perfectly clear that, in his view, the British had more experience in handling child abduction cases. So there he was, a visitor to the Iberian peninsular, whose child was inexplicably missing from a resort of little consequence and, as the local police, recognising the potential seriousness of the crime, defer instinctively to their senior investigative colleagues, what does Gerry McCann do? By way of bringing the full resources of the more experienced British police to bear, he encourages the PJ to collaborate, not with Scotland Yard, but a provincial constabulary.

Are we to suppose that the expertise to which Gerry McCann was necessarily appealing was particularly well represented by Leicestershire Police? Simply observing the law of averages, as well as the highly skewed distribution of the UK population, specialist expertise in all manner of things is most likely to reside in or around London and the South East. So was experience in the handling of missing child cases a Leicestershire forte or the criterion which singled them out as the most appropriate authority to co-ordinate the UK contribution? If not, what made their affiliation to the enquiry so important for the McCanns? Like the horse being sent a long way to compete in a small race meeting, the specific engagement of a provincial police force on a case with international parameters cannot have been without purpose. And that purpose cannot have been simply facilitating subsequent liaison back home in the UK, since no-one, outside of the protagonists, can pre-determine the length of time for which a missing person might remain so. It could all have been over inside a week. Still, there is no denying the quality of the liaison, with guidance, in the form of police manuals, later finding its way onto Gerry McCann's bedside cabinet. more

An old pic or two to brighten the place up a tad.

Footnote:

In the few minutes it took to locate the Gaspar's statements at The Maddie Case Files, three things became extremely apparent.

The staggering, and truly it is, the staggering amount of work and dedication that has gone into translating, producing and cataloguing the case files is without doubt beyond the pale.
Add to this all the other material that has been collected and archived there and it is a testament, a testament to the grit and determination of those involved and that this case will never ever go away until those people primarily involved in this sordid affair face some kind of justice.

Having witnessed the fruits of all that work and dedication, I feel somewhat ashamed of my hissy fit of yesterday, a tirade born out of frustration, that's all I can offer for an excuse.

A Verdade Da Mentira - The Truth About The Lie

Goncarlo Amaral's A Verdade Da Mentira - The Truth About The Lie, presently under a temporary gagging order in Portugal, can be read in English at any of the following sites.

From My Big Desk - Anna Andress, without who's tireless efforts in translating from the French to English, none of this would be possible. If you feel inclined you might show her a little love.

Goncarlo Amaral Truth Of The Lie Blogspot. Tribute blog with lots of other information.

The Truth About The Lie Blogspot, plain text easy to read.

And a worthy read it is I may add, little wonder the two people charged with keeping their daughter safe, though not as yet charged with her demise, are desperate to keep the book out of Britain.

It will be bad enough for them that it is freely available to be read online, but to have it staring out of every bookshop window in the land must be stuff of nightmares.

Doctors McCann, hiding a cadaver [corpse occultation] and simulation of a crime [faking the crime of kidnapping] lying and fraud, J'accuse!

Again, many thanks to Anna Andress for bringing us all the English translation of A Verdade Da Mentira, The Truth About The Lie.

British Diplomat Had Doubts About McCanns

Just a reminder.

.
Daily Express: Madeleine: British Diplomat had doubts about McCanns
3 December 2007 (no longer on-line)

A British diplomat warned the Foreign Office of concerns regarding Madeleine McCann’s parents, it emerged last night. Doubts about Kate and Gerry McCann were raised almost immediately by an official sent to Praia da Luz due to what he considered to be “inconsistencies” in the couple’s testimonies about the night the four-year-old vanished. The warning was contained in a classified document sent from the Algarve to the Foreign Office days after Madeleine’s disappearance. Details of the letter have been leaked through the British diplomatic mission in Brussels to the respected Belgian newspaper Derniere Heure.

The unnamed diplomat voices his concern about the “confused declarations” as to the whereabouts of Kate and Gerry McCann and their friends in the final hours before Madeleine’s disappearance. He also mentions the couple’s “lack of co-operation” with the Portuguese police in the light of instructions from London suggesting consular staff “overstretch their authority and put pressure on the Portuguese authorities”. The document also asks for confirmation of orders sent by the Foreign Office in London the day before, commanding embassy staff to give “all possible assistance to the McCann couple”.

Diplomats on the Algarve were told the McCanns had to be “accompanied at all times during any contact with the Portuguese police” by a member of consular staff or by British police officers sent out from the UK. The letter, sent just days after Madeleine disappeared, warns of the risks of siding with the McCanns so completely. Excerpts published in a report by La Derniere Heure quote the diplomat as saying: “With the greatest respect, I would like to make you aware of the risks and implications to our relationship with the Portuguese authorities, if you consider the possible involvement of the couple. “Please confirm to me, in the light of these concerns, that we want to continue to be closely involved in the case as was requested in your previous message.”

A huge team of diplomats have been involved in the case since Gerry McCann asked the Foreign Office for help. In an unprecedented move, the then Prime Minister Tony Blair despatched special envoy Sheree Dodd, a former Fleet Street journalist, to Portugal to act as a “media liaison officer” for the McCann family. Direct government communications with the McCanns came to an abrupt halt, however, when the couple were made official suspects in the case in September.

Portuguese detectives believe it is possible Madeleine died as the result of an accident on May 3 in the family’s holiday apartment and that her parents hid and later disposed of her body with the help of their friends. The couple have always said they had nothing to do with their daughter’s disappearance. The Belgian report says it is highly significant that almost all of the diplomats involved at the outset have now been taken off the case.

Special envoy Sheree Dodd has since resigned from the Foreign Office, the British consul in the Algarve Bill Henderson has retired and the British ambassador to Portugal John Buck is no longer in Portugal. Last night the Foreign Office refused to comment on the report.

An Interview With Sandra Felgueiras

Unfinished interview that is.

It's at this point that Sandra Felgueiras asks G McCann about the dogs and then we are treated to the father of the abducted girl sniggering in reply, "why don't you ask the dogs," before father of the abducted girl went on to make the claim that dogs are totally unreliable.

And it was at this point I think I finally came to realise that I am sick to fucking death of these two cunts, sick to death of blogging about it, sick to death of the time it consumes and not least sick to death of watching the press, parliament and particularly the bent fucks of Leicestershire police pander to this disgusting pair who are patently guilty of all that of which they are suspected.

Is this the end of it? no, but it's certainly time for a break.

Peace.

eta: concluded here.

Madeleine McCann's twin siblings angry as they start to understand horror of her abduction

The twins both know the person who took Madeleine has done something very bad.. they just want her back home

Madeleine McCann’s four-year-old twin siblings are now slowly grasping the horror of her abduction, their parents revealed yesterday.

Sean and Amelie were just two when their big sister was snatched but Kate and Gerry have since gradually explained the grim truth to them.

It is poignantly clear the youngsters still hold Madeleine close to their hearts.

Gerry, 41, said: “They talk about her more than Kate and I do. It’s incredible.

“They don’t ask so many direct questions but as they’re getting older more of the gaps are being filled in.

“They know Madeleine’s missing, they believe she has been taken and they know it’s not right that she has been taken. They understand the person who has taken Madeleine has done something very bad.

“They have asked why she’s been taken and we said, ‘We don’t know, but obviously they wanted Madeleine’. They know it’s not right and they want her back.”

Kate, also 41, added: “We made it as light as possible for Sean and Amelie but in a way they can understand.

“We made it sound like, ‘Even if you really want something you shouldn’t take it if it belongs to someone else’.”

The kids, who now attend school, are so heartbroken at having Madeleine ripped out of their lives they have even vowed to attack the kidnapper when he is caught.

Heart specialist Gerry revealed: “They’re saying, ‘When we find who took her we will fight them’. That doesn’t come directly from us saying that.

“Amelie this week was saying, ‘When I find that man I’m going to do this and that’. I said, ‘No, we will give them to the police and then we’ll put them in jail’.”

Since Madeleine’s May 2007 abduction in Praia da Luz, Portugal, her bedroom at the family home in Rothley, Leics, has remained just as she left it.

FIND THE MADELEINE MONSTER
TRUTH ABOUT THE McCANNS: BY TOP UK CRIME CRACKER
By Daniel Jones

Maddie's little brother and sister are learning to cope with their devastating loss by playing a game called Find The Monster Who Snatched Her.

And three-year-old twins Sean and Amelie are also playing a vital role in keeping their mum and dad focused, according to top criminologist Ray Wyre.

He told The People last night: "I think having other very young children has given Kate and Gerry the strength to go on.

"It must be hard for them because the twins are now almost the same age as Maddie was when she was taken.

"But they are clearly a bundle of energy and fun.

"They still talk about Madeleine and even bring her into their games."

Wyre went on: "Kate and Gerry told me they were sitting together the other day when the twins rushed into the room screaming and shouting.

"They asked what they were up to and the twins told them they were going to go and find the monster that took Maddie.

"Then they dashed off to play the game."

He added: "Of course, it's a very sad story.

"But it's healthy that Madeleine remains a real presence in their lives." source The People

And it would appear that not everyone is possessed of my delicate sensibilities and tact, these two below were lifted from the net.

But of course the real monsters, not including the parents of course, are catalogued below.

A senior Portuguese police officer has condemned the parents of Madeleine McCann for creating a “monster of information” that has failed to help in finding their daughter.

Carlos Anjos, president of the Association of Criminal Investigation Staff, said that detectives had advised Kate and Gerry McCann against their media campaign. They had also warned the couple against drawing attention to Madeleine's distinctive right eye, saying that it could have put her life in greater danger.

The disappearance of Madeleine shortly before her fourth birthday has become one of Europe's most-reported stories after the McCanns made a series of international visits to promote the search for their daughter.

Mr Anjos said that that to “keep pushing stories into the papers — they have clearly not helped solve the case”.

“Quite honestly I don't know if that is good or bad for an investigation,” he told the BBC Radio 4 Inside Stories programme today. “We were against this from the start. And importantly, we were against the release of Madeleine McCann's photo all over the world.

“We thought the photos that were released should not show the distinct mark Maddie had in her left eye. From our experience in criminal investigations this was a kidnap, which was what we believed from the start, the revealing of such a distinct feature would put that person's life in danger.” more The times

The Key Is Not To Ignore The Obvious: Martin Brunt

Such sterling advice from intrepid crime fighter and wanker in general Martin "Brunt of the Yard." in a thirty five second promotional .*

But hey! why listen to your own advice when there is shite aplenty to be writ, typified in this shite article by shite reporter, Martin, I'm such a little whore, Brunt, "of the Yard" no less.

Madeleine: Trust The Portuguese Cops?

The Madeleine appeal relies on the assumption that someone knows her abductor but won't tell because of love, loyalty or fear.

It would be unusual if no-one knew, or was at least suspicious.

The success of the appeal also hinges on that person's guilt at not divulging the secret.

Detectives insist that relationships change and the justification for someone's silence might no longer be so strong.

But.

Any information that emerges will be given to the Portuguese police for them to pursue.

As they have already failed the McCanns can they be relied on to do the right thing next time?

source Life o' Crime

He's such a little contradiction isn't he, such a little whore.

Others who are less than a little impressed with Brunt of the Yard.

"Brunt of the Yard" Joana Morais, opinion and Brunt's DNA in car report.

Mr Martin, "I don't know but I suspect" Brunt: Paulo Reis.

“Crime Expert” Mr. Mark Williams-Thomas, Martin Brunt comes alive: Paulo Reis.

Sky News Special Report: again Paulo Reis, who takes a look at a few of the shortcomings of Brunt of the Yard.

But what did Mr. Martin Brunt forget, while “separating facts from fiction”, in his special report about Madeleine's investigation?

He forget to mention what was the reason of a “dramatic twist” in the case, after “the apartment was re-examined”. Mr. Martin Brunt refers the “dramatic twist, so far” and then jumps immediately to the moment when “Kate McCann was ordered in for questioning” at the PJ headquarters in Portimão. Gerry McCann was next and both were named formal suspects.

Why did it happened, that “dramatic twist”? Why did Mr. Marin Brunt forget to explain the reasons for this “dramatic twist”? This second question only can be answered by Mr. Martin Brunt – and I believe Sky News viewers would like very much to know his explanation.

What we can do, with the help of British Press, is to answer the first question, remind Mr. Brunt of the reasons for that “dramatic twist” and about many other facts that he manipulated, distorted and omitted in his special “report”:

And goes on to remind us of a few direct quotes.

Shutters smashed, Kate told to Jon Corner, the twins godfather

“Close family friend Jon Corner, of Liverpool, told that "Kate said the shutters of the room were smashed. Madeleine was missing. It looks as though someone had gone straight past the twins to get to her. Kate was incredibly upset. I've spoken to her since, and she's still completely devastated.”
~

Brian Healy, Madeleine's maternal grandfather, told the Guardian his son-in-law had phoned him shortly after returning to the apartment from a nearby restaurant to find Madeleine had disappeared. "Gerry told me when they went back the shutters to the room were broken, they were jemmied up and she was gone," said Mr Healy. "She'd been taken from the chalet. The door was open."

“Mark Warner, the holiday firm which runs the luxury resort, claimed last night there was no sign of a break in at the ground floor apartment overlooking the sea.”

There's nothing new in all this but I thought having come across it on my travels I would post it rather than ignore it.
