Glenfield Hospital Employees, A Question If You Please

Be aware the photographs you see are taken from the documentary “Maddie: The Truth of the Lie” produced by Valentim de Carvalho Filmes based on the book of Gonçalo Amaral, the former Judiciary Police inspector who investigated the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

The re-inactions are based on sworn testimony by those present at the time, a typical example given below.

“When she arrived near the GNR officers, she verified that Gerry, Madeleine’s father, was behind her, in the company of another individual whose identity she doesn’t remember. At that moment, Gerry placed both knees on the floor, hit the floor with both hands, too, placing himself like a praying arab, and shouted out twice in rage, and it was not possible to understand what he said. Then Gerry got back on his feet and accompanied the deponent and the other individual who was in the GNR car, to apartment 5A."

Extract from one of the statements given by Sílvia Maria C R Batista, Ocean Club manager, about the events of the night of the 3rd of May 2007.

My question then:

Outside of Gerald McCann's immediate circle of friends and relatives, you as employees of Glenfield Hospital probably know Doctor McCann as well as anybody, so it is to you I turn for a possible answer.

Would the description above and the depictions below reflect the type of behaviour that you would normally associate with Doctor McCann even in the most trying of circumstances, or would they, in your opinion, be so far removed from from the character and essence of the man that one might come to the conclusion that the behaviour displayed by Doctor McCann might quite possibly be contrived?
